표지 그림은, 영국에서 활동하는 81살의 네덜란드 출신의 화가 Gretina가 주은총을 보고 영감을 받아 그린 그림입니다.

 

Gretina는 평생에 화가로써 살아오면서 자신에 마음에 드는 작품이 없었는데.

 

제가 화실에 들어 오는 순간 영감을 받아 그린 작품으로 자신의 인생을 두고 가장 마음에 드는 작품이라고 하였습니다.

 

Gretina는 두개의 그림을 그렸는데, 하나는 루시퍼의 영에 의해서 주은총이가 죽어가는 그림을 그렸습니다. 또 하나는 이 작품으로써, 루시퍼의 영에 의해 죽은 줄 알았던 주은총이 하나님의 기운에 점점 흘러 나와서 루시퍼(흑암의 세력)을 장악하는 그림입니다.

 

​첫번째 작품(루시퍼의 영에 의해서 주은총이가 죽어가는 그림)은 영국에 사는 Gretina가 가지고 있고, 두번째 작품인 이 그림을 Gretina는 한국에 있는 은총에게 보내왔습니다

Psalm 2 My God, the King

A long time ago, a father poured out his sorrow.

“I’ve spent a week in tears. I want to throw everything away. Now I just want to die and I have no motivation.”

 

Why was he so sad, desperate, and angry? The story is that a week ago, his six-year-old son was hit by a five-ton truck while playing near his house, breaking one of his legs and amputating his toes. He lost the use of his leg.

 

The driver received a 24-day license suspension, and thanks to comprehensive insurance, he had no more trouble. While he was absent-mindedly leaving his only son in the hospital, the driver who caused the accident never showed up at the hospital, as if he had ‘paid for the treatment, so he had fulfilled his responsibility.’

 

He hated the driver who caused the accident, but he was swallowing his resentment, anger, and frustration inside because of his wall against reality. He said, “How could there be such injustice? My son will now live with a disability for the rest of his life. Who will compensate him for this? And no matter how much compensation is given, will it be enough?”

 

In our society, there are many people who are resentful because of injustice, even if it is not necessarily in this form. Foreign workers live with anger and a sense of victimization toward their employers, from unfair damages or wounds from trials, from unfair acts by society and the state, from being defrauded by people they trusted, and from financial relationships with their parents or siblings.

 

Their despair and resentment will be even greater because justice does not exist and they cannot expect justice.

 

In the Psalms, the poems of the Messiah are:

Messiah as King: 2, 18, 20, 21, 45, 72, 89, 110, 132.

Messiah as Sufferer: 22, 35, 41, 55, 69, 109.

Messiah as Son of Man: 16, 40.

 

There are poems, but most of them are David's. David wrote poems foretelling the suffering of Christ under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit amid his own suffering. The author of Psalm 2 is also David. Jesus himself said in Luke 24:44,

 

"These are the words I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled." (Luke 24:44)

 

First, let's share Jesus' pain. Jesus cried out, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani (Matthew 27:46)" to show how desperate the pain of being abandoned on the cross was. "God, why have you forsaken me?“

 

When life is too painful, we also think, "Why do I have to suffer like this? Where is God's will?" Some people complain even when they are treated a little unfairly. However, in reality, we humans are not qualified to say such things. We are sinners.

 

But Jesus Christ was the Son of God, righteous and innocent. And yet he was abandoned. Jesus knew that he would suffer, and he decided to obey even unto death. But his suffering was so great and painful. He said, “I am in agony to the point of death. Pray with me.” It was such a painful and desperate prayer that his sweat turned into drops of blood. But why was Jesus so tormented? The Bitter Cup of the Lord

If you die unjustly without fulfilling your purpose at such a young age, you can be so miserable.

 

Muhammad lived to be 60, Socrates lived to be 70. Plato and Buddha died when they were over 80. But Jesus died on the cross at the age of 33. He was very young, intelligent, capable, and in the prime of his life. However, Jesus did not think of his death as a failure because he had not fulfilled his purpose. Rather, he anticipated his death (Matthew 16), and left the satisfied words, "It is finished" on the cross. Jesus did not suffer from the thought of dying in vain.

Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount,

 

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

 

Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.

 

Rejoice and be glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you (Matthew 5:10-12)

 

Why did Jesus himself suffer when he said, "Rejoice and be glad when you are persecuted" for the sake of the kingdom of heaven? Stephen, despite being stoned to death, had the face of an angel, prayed forgiving his enemies, and was martyred. When the apostles left the Sanhedrin after being beaten, they "rejoiced that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name" (Acts 5).

Polycarp, the bishop of Smyrna, also refused to escape death by fleeing or denying Christ, and was burned at the stake. Before the fire was set, he prayed: "O Father, "I praise you, Lord, for you consider me worthy to be a part of the martyrdom." He was able to rejoice even in the midst of his burning body, and many martyrs also left this world praising God with their faces shining like the sun.

 

But why did our Jesus suffer so much? The "cup" that Jesus prayed, "Father, if it is possible, take this cup from me," was a symbol of God's wrath in the Old Testament.

 

How terrible must the fear and suffering of Jesus, who received the cup of God's wrath that the sinners of this world should have suffered, have been when he, who was sinless, had to take upon himself the sins of mankind and die under the wrath of the Father?

 

In the past, many spiritual people used to say, "When I met that person, darkness came over me. Something bad had attached to me. I was burdened." Don't you know some people who live with this story? Sometimes, there are also thoughts like, 'Oh, please stop talking about that.‘

 

When the martyrs suffered physically, their souls were filled with the light of heaven. However, Jesus suffered not only physically, but also the dark night of the soul, and the heavy sin weighed on his soul. Above all, the spiritual pain of being abandoned by the Father was the greatest.

 

Did God the Father really abandon him? God must have never loved his Son more than when he was hung on the cross. Where is the Father who does not love his Son who obeys him even in the midst of great suffering?

 

However, although he was the most beloved Son, the Father had to abandon him to the point of complete abandonment. "God is far from helping; he cries out day and night, but he does not answer." God turned his face from his only Son and completely abandoned his soul. How great must the Son's suffering have been! The pain of the Father who had to turn his head while hearing the cries of his beloved Son.

 

The sound of the hammer of the cross was not only heard in the Garden of Gethsemane, but all over the earth. It rang, rang in the hearts of sinners, and rang all the way to heaven. The cruel hammer not only struck the Son's hands and feet, but also struck the heart of God in heaven. "Who handed Jesus over to death? It was not Judas who handed him over for money. It was not Pilate who handed him over because of fear. It was not the Jews who handed him over because of jealousy. The one with the final decision-making authority is 'God'. It was the Father who handed him over because of God's love for us.“

 

How much did he suffer? His hands and feet were nailed

Some people are held by God's spirit from head to toe, while others struggle to escape from God. Foolishly, they think they can escape from God’s rule. They dream of living without God’s interference. They even foolishly think that being free from God is true freedom and liberation.

 

“Let us break their chains asunder and cast away their bands.”

They have a great desire to live as they please without God’s interference. They want to run away from God. In particular, Psalm 2 today is a word warning of judgment to the Gentile nations that oppose God and His kingdom. First, it rebukes the vain desires of the Gentile nations and kings.

Why do the Gentile nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?

The kings of the earth rise up, and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and against His anointed (Psalm 2:1-2)

The nations and kings of the world are the ones who sit at the top of all people. They are the ones who have the best that the world can give them. However, even such people will perish if they oppose God. Only God is absolute, and all kings and nations should be his servants.

 

However, the reality is that kings and nations act as if they are God. Humans are encroaching on God’s domain. In this way, where God’s authority is abused, there is bound to be injustice, and where there is injustice, there is bound to be destruction of character.

 

In our society, who has not suffered from various injustices that arise as God’s domain is encroached upon and God’s order is destroyed? Whether a businessperson or a student,Who among us, whether a teacher, a laborer, or a student preparing for school, has not experienced this kind of pain, suffering, and frustration?

 

On the surface, it may seem that injustice is victorious and can taunt the weak at will, but God is never pushed out by the forces of injustice. He is in ‘heaven,’ so not only is there no human invasion of His realm, but no injustice can break God’s will to carry out righteousness. God is laughing. Instead, He is angry and wrathful, surprising them.

Come, you who are in trouble, for there is a refuge.

The earth changes, the waves rise and overflow the mountains, but do not fear.

The nations quake and the nations gather and quake.

But if our Lord utters his voice, all things under heaven will perish.

The Lord, the Lord of hosts, helps us and gives us refuge.

He makes the earthly battles cease, so that the sword of the earth will not be of any use.

 

I have installed my king on Zion, my holy hill.

I will proclaim the command of the Lord. The Lord said to me, ‘You are my son; today I have begotten you. Ask of me, and I will give the nations for your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for your possession.

You will break them with a rod of iron; you will dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’ (Psalm 2:5-9)

 

I have installed my king on Zion, my holy hill. This means that God established David as king, and it is a word foreshadowing that He will send Jesus Christ to establish him as king. The kingdom of Judah was established by God, and the kings who ruled that kingdom were kings established by God. That is why the kings of Judah recited this psalm at their coronation ceremonies.

 

We are children of God. God is our Father. What authority and power do children established by God have? Yes, that is right. What do I possess? It is Jesus Christ. God gives the Gentile nations as an inheritance. Jesus Christ will reach the ends of the earth.

 

They will be broken by the iron scepter of God’s Son, Jesus Christ. However, those who fear God and fear and rely on the king established by God and Jesus Christ sent by God will all be saved. That is God’s will and the natural order of history that God leads.

 

Therefore, be wise, you kings; be instructed, you judges of the earth.

Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling.

 

Kiss his Son, lest he be angry and you perish in the way, for his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all who take refuge in the Lord (Psalm 2:10-12)

From ancient times, many nations have arisen and disappeared in the world. Many kings have seized power and authority and ended their lives. None of them have continued to this day. However, the kingdom of God has continued from the beginning to this day, and God is the Almighty King who reigns from everlasting to everlasting.

 

In the hearts of those who believe in Jesus, the kingdom of God has already come and they live under the king. They are in the world and must obey the laws of the world, but they live under the rule of the king of the kingdom of God, which is higher than this.

 

Lord, let <Jesus Christ be everything to me>. God, you are my king. Let us serve the Lord with fear and rejoice

시편 2편/ 왕이신 나의 하나님

 

오래전의 일입니다, 어느 아버지가 자신의 아픔을 털어 놓았습니다.

 

“저는 한 주 동안 눈물로 보냈습니다. 일이고 무어고 다 집어치우고 싶습니다. 지금은 죽고만 싶고 아무런 의욕도 일어나지 않습니다.”

 

그가 왜 이렇게 슬퍼하며 절망하고 분노하였을까요? 사연인즉, 일주일 전 그의 여섯 살 난 아들이 집 근처에서 놀다가 5톤짜리 트럭에 치여 다리 한쪽이 부러지고 발가락들이 절단되었습니다. 그 다리를 못쓰게 되었다는 거죠.

 

그 운전기사는 24일간의 면허 정지 처분을 받고, 종합 보험 덕택에 그 이상의 어려운 문제는 없게 되었다는 것입니다. 하나밖에 없는 아들을 병원에 눕혀 놓고 넋이 빠져 있는데 사고를 낸 그 운전기사는 ‘치료비를 지불했으니 자기의 책임을 다했다’는 듯 병원에 한 번도 나타나지 않았습니다.

 

그는 사고를 낸 그 기사도 미웠지만, 현실에 대한 벽으로 인해 울분과 분노와 좌절을 속으로 삼키고 있었습니다. 그는 말했죠. “이렇게 억울할 데가 어디 있겠습니까? 내 아들은 이제 일생동안 장애를 가지고 살아가게 되었는데 누가 과연 이를 보상해 줄 수 있겠습니까? 또 아무리 큰 보상을 한다 할지라도 그것이 보상이 될까요?”

 

우리 사회에는 꼭 이와 같은 형태는 아니라 해도, 불의 때문에 한이 맺힌 사람들이 많습니다. 외국인 근로자들은 기업주를 향해, 억울한 피해나 재판으로 인한 상처, 사회와 국가의 부당행위 또는 믿었던 사람에게 사기를 당하고, 부모,형제와의 재산 관계로 인해 분노와 피해의식을 가지고 살아가는 사람들도 있습니다.

 

그들은 공의가 존재하지 않고, 공의를 기대할 수 없다는 데서 오는 절망과 울분이 더욱더 클 것입니다.

 

시편에서 메시야의 시는

왕이신 메시야 : 2,18,20,21,45,72,89,110,132.

고난당하는 메시야 : 22,35,41,55,69,109.

인자로서의 메시야 : 16,40. 등이 있는데 대부분 다윗의 시이죠. 다윗은 자신의 고난가운데 성령의 감동으로 그리스도의 고난을 예고하는 시를 썼습니다. 시편 2편의 저자 역시, 다윗입니다. 예수님도 누가복음 24장 44절에서 직접 말씀하셨죠.

 

내가 너희와 함께 있을 때에 너희에게 말한바 곧 모세의 율법과 선지자의 글과 시편에 나를 가리켜 기록된 모든 것이 이루어져야 하리라 한 말이 이것이라 하시고( 눅 24:44)

 

 

먼저, 예수님의 아픔을 함께 나누어 볼까요? 예수님은 십자가위에서 버림받는 고통이 얼마나 처절한지 “엘리 엘리 라마 사박다니(마 27: 46)”라고 외치셨습니다. “하나님 어찌하여 나를 버리셨나이까?”

 

인생사가 너무 괴로우면, 우리도 내가 왜 이런 고통을 당해야 할까? 하나님의 뜻은 어디에 있을까? 하고 생각합니다. 어떤 사람들은 조금만 부당한 대우를 받아도 원망하죠. 그러나 실상 우리 인간은 이런 말을 할 자격이 없다. 우리는 죄인이기 때문입니다.

 

그러나 예수 그리스도는 하나님의 아들이요, 의인이며 무죄하셨죠. 그런데 버림을 당하셨습니다. 예수님은 고난받으실 것을 아셨고, 죽기까지 복종하기로 작정하셨습니다. 그런데도 그 고난은 너무가 크고 괴로웠죠. "내가 번민하여 죽게 되었으니 나와 함께 기도하자"고 하였을 정도였습니다. 땀이 핏방울로 변할 정도로 괴롭고 처절한 기도였습니다. 그런데 예수님은 왜 그토록 괴로워 하셨을까요?

 

주님의 쓴잔

주님의 쓴잔을 맛보지 않으면

주님의 쓴잔을 모르리

주님의 괴로움을 당하지 않으면

주님의 고통을 모르리

주님의 십자가를 져보지 않으면

주님의 죽으심을 모르리

주님의 쓴잔은 내 것이요

주님의 괴로움 내 것이라

주님의 쓴잔을 맛보지 않으면

주님의 쓴잔을 모르리

주님의 괴로움을 당하지 않으면

주님의 고통을 모르리

주님의 십자가 내 보물이라

또한 그의 부활 내 영광이리라

 

너무나 짧은 나이에 뜻을 못 이루고 억울하게 죽는다면 그렇게 괴로워 할 수가 있겠죠.

모하멧은 60세까지 살았고, 소크라테스는 70세를 살았습니다. 플라톤과 석가는 80이 넘어서 죽었죠. 그런데 예수님은 33세 십자가에서 운명하셨습니다. 한참 젊고, 지력과 능력이 있고 인생의 최고 시절이었죠. 그러나 예수님은 자기가 뜻을 못 이루고 죽은 실패의 죽음으로 생각하지 않았습니다. 오히려 그 죽음을 예견했고(마16), 십자가 위에서 "다 이루었다"고 만족한 말씀을 남기셨죠. 예수님은 허무하게 죽는 것을 괴로워 하신 것이 아니죠.

 

예수님은 산상수훈에서 말씀하셨죠.

 

의를 위하여 박해를 받은 자는 복이 있나니 천국이 그들의 것임이라

 

나로 말미암아 너희를 욕하고 박해하고 거짓으로 너희를 거슬러 모든 악한 말을 할 때에는 너희에게 복이 있나니

 

기뻐하고 즐거워하라 하늘에서 너희의 상이 큼이라 너희 전에 있던 선지자들도 이같이 박해하였느니라(마5:10-12)

 

하늘나라를 위해서 ‘핍박를 받을 때 기뻐하고 즐거워하라’고 하셨는데 왜 예수님 자신은 괴로와 하셨을까요? 스데반도 돌을 맞아 죽음에도 불구하고, 천사의 얼굴을 하고 원수를 용서하는 기도하고 순교하였습니다. 사도들은 매를 맞고 산헤들인 공회를 떠날 때 "그 이름을 위하여 능욕받는 일에 합당한 자로 여기심을 기뻐하였습니다.(행 5장).

 

서머나의 감독인 폴리캅 역시, 도주하거나 그리스도를 부인함으로 죽음을 피할 것을 거부하고 당당히 화형을 당했죠. 불이 붙기 전 그는 이렇게 기도하였습니다. "오, 아버지시여! 나를 순교자의 한 부분을 담당할 만한 자로 여기시오니 주를 찬송하옵나이다" 그는 그의 몸이 불타는 화염속에서도 기뻐할 수 있었고, 많은 순교자들 역시 얼굴이 해 같이 빛나며 찬송하면서 이 세상을 떠나갔습니다.

 

그런데 왜 우리 예수님은 그렇게 괴로워 하셨을까요? 예수님이 "아버지여 할 만 하시거든 이 잔을 내게서 옰겨 주옵소서"하고 기도한 이 "잔"은 구약성경에서 하나님의 진노를 가리키는 상징이었죠.

 

이 세상 죄인들이 당해야 할 하나님의 진노의 잔을 대신 받으신 예수님은 죄가 없으신 분이 인류의 죄를 담당하시고 아버지로부터 진노의 받아 죽어야 할 때 그 두려움과 그 괴로움

은 얼마나 끔찍하였을까요?

 

예전에, 영적이다는 사람들이 많이들 말하잖아요. “저 사람을 만나고 왔더니 어둠이 묻어왔다. 나쁜 것이 들러 붙었어. 짐받았다.”라는 이야기를 달고 사는 사람들도 있잖습니까? 때론, ‘어휴. 이제 저런 이야기좀 그만 하시지.’하는 속마음도 있습니다.

 

순교자들은 육체가 괴로움을 당할 때 그 영혼은 하늘의 빛으로 충만하였습니다. 그러나 예수님은 육체의 괴로움만이 아니라, 영혼의 어두운 밤이 그를 짓눌렀고, 무거운 죄악이 그 영혼을 눌렀습니다. 무엇보다도 아버지로부터 버림당하는 영적 고통은 가장 큰 것이었죠.

 

과연 하나님 아버지께서 그를 버리셨을까요? 하나님은 아들이 십자가에 달리셨을 때보다 더 사랑한 적이 없었을 것입니다. 큰 고통가운데서도 아버지께 순종하는 아들이 더 사랑스럽지 않은 아버지가 어디 있을ᄁᆞ요?

 

그러나, 가장 사랑스러운 아들이지만 아버지는 아들을 완전히 버림당하는 처지에 이르도록 내어버려 두셔야 했습니다. "하나님은 멀리하여 돕지 아니하시며, 낮에도 밤에도 부르짖지만 응답지 안으신다"고 했다. 하나님은 독생자에게서 얼굴을 돌리시고 완전히 그 영혼을 버리셨습니다. 아들의 고통이 얼마나 컸을까요! 사랑하는 아들의 부르짖음을 들으시며 고개를 돌리셔야 했던 아버지의 고통.

 

십자가의 망치 소리는 겟세마네 동산에만 울린 것이 아니라, 온 지상에 울렸고, 죄인들의 가슴속에 울렸고, 저 천국에 까지 울렸던 것이다. 잔인한 쇠망치는 아들의 양손 양발위에만 갸해진 것이 아니라, 하늘에 계신 하나님의 가슴마져 아프게 때렸습니다.

 

"누가 예수를 죽음에 넘겨 주엇는가? 돈을 위하여 유다가 넘겨 준 것이 아닙니다. 두려움때문에 빌라도가 넘겨 준 것도 아니죠. 시기때문에 유대인들이 넘겨 준 것도 아니죠. 최종 결재권자는 ‘하나님’이시죠. 바로 우리를 향한 하나님의 사랑으로 인하여 성부께서 친히 넘겨 주신 것입니다"

 

얼마나 아프셨나 못박힌 그 손과 발

죄없이 십자가에 매달리신 예수님

하늘도 모든 땅도 초목들도 다 울고

 

해조차 빛을 잃고 온누리 비치잖네

아 아 끝없어라 주의 사랑 언제나

아 아 영원토록 구원의 강물 흐르네

너의 죄 너희의 죄 우리의 모든 죄를

모두 다 사하시려 십자가 달리신 주

얼굴과 손과 발에흐르는 그 귀한 피

골고다 언덕위에 피로 붉게 적셨네

아 아 끝없어라 주의 사랑 언제나

아 아 영원토록 구원의 강물 흐르네

 

머리부터 발끝까지 하나님의 신에 붙들린 사람이 있는가 하면, 하나님으로부터 벗어나고 싶어서 발버둥치며 사는 사람들도 있습니다. 어리석게도 하나님의 통치에서 도망갈 수 있으리라 고 생각하죠. 하나님의 간섭없이 살기를 꿈꾸는 것입니다. 심지어는 하나님으로부터 벗어나는 것이 참된 자유요 해방이라는 철없는 생각을 하기도 하죠.

 

“우리가 그들의 맨 것을 끊고 그의 결박을 벗어 버리자 하는도다

 

하나님 의간섭없이 내 맘대로 내 멋대로 살아보고 싶은 욕망이 큰거죠. 하나님으로부터 멀리 도망가고 싶은 것입니다. 특별히 오늘 시편2편은 하나님과 하나님의 나라를 대적하는 이방 나라들을 향해 심판을 경고하는 말씀입니다. 먼저 이방 나라와 왕들의 헛된 욕망을 책망하고 있죠.

 

어찌하여 이방 나라들이 분노하며 민족들이 헛된 일을 꾸미는가

세상의 군왕들이 나서며 관원들이 서로 꾀하여 여호와와 그의 기름 부음 받은 자를 대적하며(시편2;1-2)

 

세상 나라들과 왕들은 모든 사람들중 으뜸에 앉은 사람들입니다. 세상에서 얻을 수 있는 최고의 것을 얻는 사람들입니다. 그러나 그런 사람들이라도, 하나님을 대적하면 망하고 맙니다. 하나님만이 절대적인 분이시며 모든 군왕들과 국가들은 그 종이 되어야 마땅하죠.

 

그러나 현실은 군왕과 국가들이 자신이 마치 하나님인 것처럼 행세하고 있습니다. 인간이 하나님의 영역을 침범하는 것이죠. 이처럼 하나님의 권위를 남용하는 곳에는 반드시 불의가 있고 불의가 있는 곳에 인격이 파괴되는 일이 있게 마련입니다.

 

우리 사회에서 하나님의 영역이 침해당하고 하나님의 질서가 파괴됨에 따라 나타나는 각종 불의의 피해를 입어 보지 않은 사람이 어디 있을까요? 사업을 하는 사람이든, 학교에서 교편을 잡는 사람이든, 노동을 하는 사람이든, 입학을 준비하는 학생이든 이 같은 아픔과 고통, 좌절 해보지 않은 사람이 어디 있을까요?

 

표면적으로 볼 때에는 불의가 승리하고 약한 사람들을 마음대로 회롱할 수 있는 것같이 보이나 하나님은 결코 불의의 세력들에 의하여 밀려나지 않습니다. 그분은 ‘하늘’에 계시므로 인간이 그 영역을 침범할 수 없을 뿐 아니라, 어떠한 불의도 의를 실행하고자 하시는 하나님의 의지를 꺾을 수 없습니다. 하나님이 비웃고 계시죠. 오히려 분을 발하며 진노하사 그들을 놀라게 하십니다.

 

피난처 있으니 환난을 당한 자 이리 오라

땅들이 변하고 물결이 일어나 산 위에 넘치되 두렵잖네

이방이 떠들고 나라들 모여서 진동하나

우리 주 목소리 한번 발하시면 천하에 모든 것 망하겠네

만유주 여호와 우리를 도우니 피난처요

세상의 난리를 그치게 하시니 세상의 창검이 쓸데없네

 

내가 나의 왕을 내 거룩한 산 시온에 세웠다 하시리로다

내가 여호와의 명령을 전하노라 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 너는 내 아들이라 오늘 내가 너를 낳았도다

내게 구하라 내가 이방 나라를 네 유업으로 주리니 네 소유가 땅 끝까지 이르리로다

네가 철장으로 그들을 깨뜨림이여 질그릇 같이 부수리라 하시도다(시편2:5-9)

 

내가 나의 왕을 나의 거룩한 산 시온에 세웠도다. 다윗을 하나님이 왕으로 세우셨다는 뜻이며, 장차 예수 그리스도를 보내셔서 왕으로 세우실 것을 예고하신 말씀입니다. 유다 왕국이 하나님이 세우신 나라요, 그 나라를 다스리는 왕들이 하나님이 세우신 왕들이라는 뜻입니다. 그래서 유다 왕들은 즉위식 때 이 시편을 낭송하게 했습니다.

 

우리는 하나님의 자녀입니다. 하나님이 우리 아버지죠. 하나님이 세우신 자녀는 어떤 권세와 능력을 갖는가요? 네 그렇습니다. 내 소유가 무엇일까요? 바로 예수 그리스도죠. 하나님은 이방나라를 유업으로 주십니다. 예수 그리스도가 땅끝까지 이르게 되는 거죠.

 

하나님의 아들 예수 그리스도에게 철장권세로 깨어지고 맙니다. 그러나 하나님을 경외하며 하나님이 세우신 왕, 또 하나님이 보내신 예수 그리스도를 경외하며 의지하는 자는 다 구원을 받습니다. 그것이 하나님이 정하신 뜻이며, 하나님이 이끌어가시는 역사의 순리입니다.

 

그런즉 군왕들아 너희는 지혜를 얻으며 세상의 재판관들아 너희는 교훈을 받을지어다

여호와를 경외함으로 섬기고 떨며 즐거워할지어다

 

그의 아들에게 입맞추라 그렇지 아니하면 진노하심으로 너희가 길에서 망하리니 그의 진노가 급하심이라 여호와께 피하는 모든 사람은 다 복이 있도다(시2:10-12)

 

고대부터 세상에는 수많은 나라들이 일어났다가 사라졌습니다. 수많은 왕들이 권세와 권력을 잡았다가 생을 마쳤습니다. 그 중에 지금까지 계속되고 있는 나라나, 왕들은 하나도 없습니다. 그러나 하나님의 나라는 태초부터 지금까지 계속되고 있으며, 하나님은 영원부터 영원까지 통치하시는 전능하신 왕이십니다.

 

예수 믿는 사람들의 마음 속에는 이미 하나님의 나라가 임했고 왕을 모시고 살고 있죠. 세상에 있으며 세상 법칙에 순응해야 하되 이보다 더 높은 하나님의 나라의 왕의 통치하에 살고 있습니다.

 

주님, 나의 소유 <예수 그리스도가 전부>이게 하소서. 하나님 당신은 나의 왕이십니다. 여호와를 경외함으로 섬기고 떨며 즐거워하게 하소서
